Winter 2023 Intermediate Japanese Class

This is a course for those who have experience in learning Japanese about three years or equivalent experience in the past.  Enrolling students should feel comfortable with speaking basic Japanese on simple topics and willing to engage in a short discussions on cultural issues in Japan.

The Winter 2023 Intermediate Japanese class focuses on reviews on basic language functions commonly used at work, school and personal daily situations that appear in the language materials presented in Marugoto Intermediate 1. While we focus on communication skills, a special focus is placed on building accuracy and fluency with vocabulary, kanji and grammar, that is necessary for the intermediate level of Japanese language learning.

When: Wedesdays, January 18 – March 22, 2023, 6:00 - 7:30 PM (10 weekly class sessions)

Where: Online via Zoom (few classes will be offered In-person too)
